Friends do NOT need to talk always

People would always say that communication between friends would be needed to establish the bond.

But no. I was proven wrong.

Friends would always be there even if you don't talk for awhile.

I met this group of friends back in 2019. They became my virtual parents in Facebook, and we were really close.

And before, I have this mindset that friends should always talk to continue being friends. I have this fear that if the communication stops, friendship will end, as well.

But that's not the case.

Individuals also need time for themselves- so they can relax, reflect and do things that they want.

They taught me that.

Even if friends would not talk for months- it does not necessarily mean that they are not friends anymore, they are just resring from the norm.

So, why not check on your friends who you have not talked for awhile and thought you guys are not friends anymore?

Ask them.

And you'd know, real friendship lasts even the longest of time.
