Hi, I'm Adam and I'll be introducing new and exciting Steemians to the community. The Fresh Five account was set up by Mike, who'll be working towards creating and administering Fresh Five competitions and contests to help kick start our brand new friends and get them involved in the community.

Here's our Fresh Five for the 6th of Feb!

To kick us off, we have Shikhar who is already going to be great on this platform. He's been a professional blogger in gaming and tech, but is really super passionate about cutting edge technology... y'know, the good stuff. Like all of us early adopters he's fed up with the media's lazy portrayal of crypto and is here to do something about it... so he's already a hero in my book.

Next we have Char who also has a long history with blogging. She's an incredible writer; casual and friendly yet super strong in her conviction. Again I think she'll be amazing for this platform so please give her a visit and be all friendly and stuff. Music is her jam, peeps are her bread, and I, for one, can't wait to see what she hits us with. She's gonna hit us hard and it's going to be amazing (no pressure Char, I think you've got it).

Our Fresh Five middle child is Andhika who comes to us from Aceh in Indonesia. Aceh has a huge community here on Steem, so Andhika will find himself in great company. He loves cooking and is super keen to share it with us, and while studying he started his own business selling martabak eggs.

We'd love to introduce Blincent who is a blogger, geologist, universalist, introvert and opimist from the Philippines. He's a great cook, he's definitely a good blogger and he's super into science. Blincent, I like all those things too! Can't wait to read what you've got to say!

Lastly we have this excitable lass named Karen who comes from a huge happy family in . She's a so close to being a licensed pre-school teacher and we're excited for her.
