We had lots of books where school was painted as inevitable and my kids still never ended up going XD Middle child is now in high school by request and seems like it's pretty much how she thought it would be. She's currently enjoying it but I'm a bit worried about her education (aaahhh the irony).
How's your writing skills, sounds like you need to write some new books ;D
Haha! Writing might not be the problem, LOL. I often wished I could blink like in "I Dream of Jeannie" and have the perfect book or change in a book ready. ;-) And yes, as I've described, it has not been an issue later. However, you can not imagine the flood of (boring) books on school in German language libraries.
