Facelift- A 5 Minute Freewrite
God, you need a facelift, he thought to himself. She caught his eye as he looked up from his workbench. Time hadn't done himself any great favors, but tonight he noticed how tired she looked. He knew that if he was to take her out she wouldn't disappoint. They'd both have a great time. The two of them and the open road.
He sat back in his chair and took a closer look at her. The beauty of her youth was still all there. The black leather she wore proudly once was fading and cracked from sitting in the sun. He had moved her to the garage once he noticed the paint on her hood was fading. The red turning a dull pink.
5 minutes is up
Hopefully, it's apparent that it's his favorite car that needs a facelift. I wanted to think of a unique way to use the prompt and I think this is satisfactory. I am quite slow at writing. I've been totally dormant for many years and only recently getting back into it. I hope to rebuild my skills and create great short stories to share on the #steem blockchain for all of #steemit.
