5 Minute Freewrite Challenge Day 15: Prompt-White Cat
The first thing that came to my mind when I read the prompt "White Cat" was confusion. Some people automatically think that a cat is deaf if it is all white, but that is not always true. And there are others who think that a white cat is an Albino; not always true once again. An albino white cat has pink eyes and they are usually NOT deaf.
Some white cats have odd eyes; they have one blue eye and the other eye is a different color. I read somewhere that if a white cat has one blue eye, it will only be deaf in the ear of the same side. I also read that white cats with odd eyes will NOT be deaf at all. What difference does it make? If you are a cat lover like me, a white cat or an Albino; deaf or not, I love them all just the same.

I agree, they're lovable no matter what.
So happy to hear that you feel the same way. Thanks for stopping by! : )
This is Gina, all white, Gerry's sister. Died at 2 yrs old. Gina had 2 green eyes, Gerry 1 green one blue. Both stone deaf. Mama cat 2 green eyes with great ears.
Very interesting. It just shows that you can't always believe everything that is written about white cats. So sorry to hear that Gina only lived for 2 years...what a cutie!
The name "jaguar" comes from a Native American word meaning "he who kills with one leap".
Cute and beautiful, Thanks
