What is love?
Love is beyond words spoken
Love is not just a feeling
Not just a butterfly in the stomach
Nor the tears behind the separation.

Love, a being in the guise
Of desire, pleasure and the finest of things
But in the trajectory of our dreams,
Love hides behind the norms of the civilization.
Love heals the animosity of quick judgment,
the loneliness in parting ways.

Love, the never ending answer
To the mishaps of the present.
Love, the one of the many gifts
We could ever be thankful.
Love, the beginning of it all.
In it's absence
The world is as dark as emptiness.

Love, that little girl smiling back at you
Even when your frowning back at her.
Love, that simple understanding that no matter how far you may be someone is there praying for your safety.
Love, that pair of hand holding you tightly
In the hopes of never letting you fall down into abyss of lament and grief.

Love, the unconditional acceptance.
Love, the harmony in every symphony.
Love.. a word, a feeling,
A person, a thing, a story..
Of which money can never ever buy!
