Day 781: 5 Minute Freewrite: Tuesday - Prompt: fleece
Fleeced and blanketed, blanketed in a bed of snow, white like the yonder, pale like the moonlight, thicked and tricked iced over edges along the highway, freshly salty but still tricky as hell, my sneakers are moist but my slippers are dry, the fire is raging to dry the wood that in turn will also be a fire, the fleece is zipped uptight and the wool socks have fuzzies, trying to think what to get my secret Santa, even with an amazon gift certificate I am lost in a maze, the world is an oyster and I am starving, best get up the tree cause who cares who you believe in - it’s the holidays it’s all about the egg nog.
