#DailyFreeWriteChallenge: Day 126 - Switch
I've got to switch it up. A change is necessary. I don't know what to do. What should I do? You tell me because i obviously can't come up with the answers on my own. Everything was all good just a week ago. I was in the right state of mind. I had strong routines and habits. Then switch. It changed. Skrt. It moved. I dont know what I'm writing about but im going to keep going. Just keep pushing. Just keep moving. one foot in front of the other. I dont know where my life is heading. Switch. Move. Change. Grow. Think. Write. Read. Meditate. Stretch. Breathe. Breathe. Switch.
Okay switch it up and change your perspective on what's going on. We can't live in fear forever. We can't constantly think about what if. things will get better.
Switch.
No they wont. They'll never get better. Life is spinning perpetually further and further down a black hole.
Switch.
Life is beautiful. We are all so lucky to be alive. Who wouldn't give anything to be here one more day. To have their loved ones with them one more day.
Switch.
They are in a better place. Right? They must be. All dogs go to heaven. What's going to happen to me when my time is up.
Switch.
I've got all the time in the world, but at the same time it's running out. I'll never have more time than I have right now in this moment.
Switch.
Capture each moment. Live in each moment. Live life to the fullest because who knows what day might be your last.
Switch.
I like pizza.
Switch.
What else do i like? I like to help people. I want to be there for people who need somebody. I want to spark a change in the world. I dont know what capacity that'll be but I'm willing to find out.
Switch.
Switch it up now. I'm getting back to myself. My routines. My daily practices and habits. Life won't ever be the same again but that's okay.
This post was written via The Most Dangerous Writing App in response to the #dailyfreewritechallenge posted by @mariannewest. Today's (Day 126) prompt is "switch". If you're curious about the #dailyfreewritechallenge, check out the introduction post here!
I like what you wrote, even more amazed that you used the dangerous writing app for this. I haven't tried it yet, though I've heard stories of how cruelsome it can be. Again nice writing. What I do, I look at the prompt think of a story, then start typing.
Thanks man! The Most Dangerous Writing App is a great (albeit scary) tool to use for the #DailyFreeWriteChallenge. It tests your creativity in new and unimaginable ways by putting the pressure on you to keep writing. I'll be on the lookout for some of your posts as well! In the meantime, feel free to check out my latest freewrite here
I liked this! I feel like that's how I ago about my days...weeks...years. Everything is constantly switching and changing, sometimes it's better, most of the time it is, but every once and awhile....haha
Haha so true! Change usually is for the better regardless if it's initially good or not! Even a bad change helps you realize something that you may have not known before =)
Yes! After I wrote my comment, I thought about how all the changes can take you to a better place even if it didn't start that way.
Exactly! If you're interested, feel free to check out my latest freewrite here =)
yeah that's true life is all like sine curve , it switches in no time , we should be bold enough to treat the downs . lol !! you used all the switches of mind ;)
Looks like we have a math wizard in the house! Thanks for reading and be sure to check out my latest freewrite here =)
I really like this a lot! Apparently, today's prompt evoked a certain way of "associative" writing, if I may say - the structure of my attempt was not too different, but the content was the bad kind of wild (why I didn't post it). But you managed to actually write a text that I feel like you just wrote down someone's thoughts in real time ... bouncing from one to another and maybe back or not, with the underlying topic of change. Really awesome!
Thanks for bringing your perspective to this post! My basic strategy for the #DailyFreeWriteChallenge is to type like a madman for 5min using the Most Dangerous Writing App without worrying about what comes out. I consider the style to be "stream of consciousness" writing.
Please feel free to check out my latest freewrite here =)
That's awesome and really interesting! I totally get your "stream of conciousness" and I sometimes wish there was a device to write down what's going on in my brain one on one. Since I'm not the fastest typer I sometimes use a dictaphone (but not for freewrite so far). I usually jump right into a scene and I'm then writing down the scene either as an observer or as a person who's actually in the scene. Someone convinced me to post my associative writing thing on "switch", anyway, but my stories are usually more like my freewrite on "snake" (feel free to check it out if you like ;))
Yeah, sometimes life is like that. Well done. Sometimes I feel it's from seeing too many sides of the same issue. That's just the way the brain goes. You exposed us all. :-))
Thanks for reading & commenting! I've been prone to overthinking everything my entire life so I can attest to what you have to say! Check out my latest freewrite here =)
Niiiiiice! I like it. You really switched things up here. Great thought process :)
I see what you did there! Thanks for reading =)

OK - hats off for using rhe dangerous writing app!!
I like how the writing goes in many different directions, switches thoughts, just like anyone trying to multitask. Deep and meaningful about life to pizza - this is great!
Thanks! I found that the #DailyFreeWriteChallenge is easier for me when using The Most Dangerous Writing App! It keeps me focused and on track.

I am humbled by your courage and your wordsmithing. If I had attempted this with the Dangerous app I would have lost big time. Nice style and cadence. Thanks!
Thanks! It's something you need to work up to in order to feel comfortable using. It's terrible when you lose what you wrote because of a brain fart!
I just posted my latest freewrite here! Check it out if you're interested =)
this was true and beautiful!!
