Day 141: 5 Minute Freewrite: Sunday - Prompt: the military
"The military prompt. I've just clicked on to @mariannewest page and have a look at what was the prompt today. Immediately i opened the web on 'themostfdangerouswritingapp' and start writing my 5 minute #freewrite. It's an interesting prompt as we are having some military exercise currently going on on our skies. We can hear fighter jets flying low and military helicopters round in circle. They did though gave early announcement that these training will be going on till night. So, we weren't so angry about it...they do this for our own safety. Anyway, my daughter just love to see those jet plane fly...and can sometimes be scared of it because of the loud sound they make. We are used to this kind of training as they will do this once a year. It is good though for our pilots, to know the terrain around the country. Keep it up..."
Unedited version...only spellcheck...no topic search before writing...typing whatever comes out of my head
There was once happened in February 2013 when about 235 militants mostly armed man came by boat from South of Philippines to the shores of Lahad Datu, north of Borneo, Malaysia. They call themselves "Royal Security Forces of the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo". The objective of the invasion is to assert the unresolved territorial claim of the Sultanate of Sulu to eastern Sabah. There were tensions around the state during that period which ended in March 2013. Our military was called into action and during the invasion, around 56 militants were killed, along with 6 civilians and 10 Malaysian security forces. The rest of the militants were either captured, or escaped back to the Philippines.
