When it comes to cake...i really love Tiramisu Cake. I don't know what make me like it so much...maybe the taste...or maybe just the texture feeling when you have that first bite...lol.

Day 144: 5 Minute Freewrite: Monday - Prompt: frosting a cake

"Frosting a cake? to be frank, i don't know anything about frosting a cake...when it comes to cake, i only know how to eat it...and then judge the taste...lol. I do know someone who is expert in this field, and she is my ex-girlfriend and now my wife...lol. She use to work as a full time pastry chef in a well known hotel...and there is where we met. I was working as a guest service agent or reception. She knows a lot about cakes and how to make them...she made some cakes for a birthday party and even for our daughter which saves a lot of cost. So we really do not have to worry about cakes anymore...lol. Sometimes she tends to be busy and so we eventually have to buy one. About frosting a cake...i know that frosting involves a lot of sugar...to make the cake more firm and steady so it won't collapse...i believe that is what it was meant to be...lol. After this #freewrite i will definitely ask my wife about it..."

Well....i asked my wife...and as expected, i was wrong...lol. It is actually the thick fluffy layer outside of the cake, it could be different flavors but most common is cho-co-la-te. I love to say chocolate as cho-co-la-te...it sounds more yummy...lol. Frosting is different from icing though, where icing is thinner and glossier than frosting. Maybe i was confuse with 'Frosty the Snow Man' when talking about Frosting Cake...hmmmm...it could be it....lol.

Well...time to head to Starbucks and have my Tiramisu Cake there...till the next #freewrite from @mariannewest.
