This quote is really a bittersweet one. I really do not think we really like challenges. I don’t think I get up each day saying: What wonderful challenges does life have for me today. Wow! I can hardly wait.
Yet it is through these challenges that we find our strength, our courage- challenges are what define us.
If we give up when the challenges come, we will never achieve our goals.
If we face them head on and overcome them, then we feel strong, invincible and we respect our accomplishments.
So challenges do serve a purpose. But when faced with them we want to run and when we overcome them we feel on top of the world. Challenges do come to make us stronger. It’s just that they never seem to show up at the best times.
They show up when we have resigned that we’ve enough on our plate and if one more thing were to be added, we would be totally wiped out.
Yet we find the courage and the strength to deal with the new challenge and most times than not, we overcome. That is by nature, who we are-we are overcomers. We have greater strength than we know and it’s only through these challenges that we find out our super human power.
Today I challenge you that whatever you are going through right now that you are bigger, stronger and more powerful that it. You just have to dig your heels in and say: No matter how hard it gets, no matter how tough it gets, I am going to make it through!
No matter what we might think, life never gives us more than we can handle. So take courage today that the challenge you’re facing has only come to make you stronger.
