Freewrite- Canvas
The sky this morning seemed to me like a canvas on which an artist poured out his heart and soul,
Painting colours all tangy as if he accidentally spilled a can of orange juice just above the surface,
The mystery and flecks of darkness lit up a fire in me, no water can extinguish,
I am thirsty, parched and longing, waiting to be filled up to the brim,
A desire so deep not even lust and passion together can defeat,
The sky looked fierce, wild and ready for the storm,
I just wished to be engulfed by it,
Buried deep in it's abyss...

Really great analogy into the sunrise. I like how you compared it to an artist's canvas. The contrast between the artist spilling his drink and your use of the thirst really ties it all together. Thank you for writing this and keep up the good work!

Beautiful freewrite. I'm reading it while sitting on the terrace, and it made me look up into the sky, and think.."Wow. Nature is so beautiful!!" It's sometimes so easy to forget, and blind ourselves to the beauty that is surrounding us.
