This was a fantastic re-writing of the greek myth. Actually, I think younger audience would find Greek mythology more appealing if they read your take on it.
Very frank, irreverent and yet poetic.
I think that all gods and goddesses deserve some critical assessment once in a while to better understand their relationship with humans and how their accounts reflect human actions and expectations.
