Seeds of memories | 5 minutes freewrite | Sunflower seeds

Sunflower seeds. Well, that somethings that's been part of my life for a very long time.

When I was a kid, I used to live in a small village and me and my friends used to have the freedom to occupy a whole street for our games. We screamed, ran, laughed and cried there. I remember how we had this every week concert which the whole street come to see. We sang, made sketches and played games in front of mainly our grandmothers. We sold them rocks and with the money we got we bought us some juice, ice cream and sunflower seeds. After that we just sat somewhere in the park and we talked, laughed of our performance and came up with ideas for the next one.

My attachment to the sunflower seeds does not over there. The now grown-up then me, began to go out more and more often after the night's fall. Discos and even relaxed dinners with friends turned out into great memories that I would bring to life. I still remember when a girlfriend liked somebody, how we invited him to sunflower seeds, beer and card games and weeks passed like that.

When I moved to the city I forgot about the seeds. I began to forget the nice moments too. You know what, I am going to get some beer and some sunflower seeds and go back in time. Have a lovely day!
