I like the idea of journaling for reflection and accountability. Of course, your journal has to be honest and not self-censored. I know that I've recorded stuff and realized that I've held back because of fear of others reading/seeing this truth and judging me. However we approach growth, It comes down to digging deep and peeling back the layers. This is hard, painful and often humbling work, it's not meant to be easy, but it's the only way to heal and grow. Interesting insights, I appreciated reading this!

I agree. I tried to start a journal when I was younger, but my brother would routinely search my room and destroy them. So I eventually just gave up trying. Nowadays, though, one can anonymously blog, or write draft emails to themselves. It's become much easier.
