How I Quit Addiction to Porn After 11 years

When I was 15 I accidentally saw porn for the first time. I was scrolling through Facebook through randomly curated photo galleries when suddenly I was bombarded with dozens of images of softcore porn. I struggled with an addiction to it for 11 years before someone finally gave me the wisdom and the help that I needed in order to get free from it.

That "wisdom" came in the form of a book about ending porn addiction and it completely changed my understanding and my perspective about what porn really is. And what is really behind porn and why it is so addictive.

Essentially, it came down to falling even more in love with Jesus and leaning into God for my freedom. This is the first time in my life that I feel truly deeply free to my core and that there is nothing inside my head that is wondering if I will ever fall back into that addiction.
