To disagree is to be undesirable (according to Russia and Putin)
Image: Russian liberty lovers/freedom fighters attempt to protest Putin's heavy internet regulations and anti-free speech laws he recently passed to silence dissent. Many ended up being arrested and imprisoned for fighting for their freedom that same afternoon.
Did you know that people in Russia can't criticize Putin, and like Kim Jung Un nobody can really run against him in an election (shows why elections are such bs when they can be thwarted so easily)? Did you know that if you do criticize Putin he has and will kidnap/arrest you and throw you into prison for years until you've become obedient to his brutal and authoritarian regime.
Putin labels people who disagree with him as "undesirables" and they use a law they made up against "foreign agents" to try to use the state/government to silence people, even regular Russian citizens/slaves. Putin and his thugs use these anti-free speech tools heavily on humans rights organizations that are trying to improve freedom in Russia.
The laws make it so anybody Putin labels as a "foreign agent"/"undesirable" must publicly disclaim that on anything they post (news articles, social media blogs, etc...). They also require "undesirables" (people highlighting Putin's tyranny) to file quarterly report about all of their financial activities. Any misstep in either could lead to criminal prosecution, fines or both. Imagine having the IRS down your throat all the time and they are always watching every small move for any small mistake to throw you in jail for years or to tax/fine you more and steal your property.
Russian journalists hit with the label point out that there is no trial and no burden on the state to provide evidence that an organization or a person who is added to the registry ever received money from abroad.
There's only 2 ways off the undesirable list. Ask the ministry of "justice" to remove you (fat chance), or death. Death is the leading way off that list presently.
No wonder Russia is ranked 126th in economic and social freedoms out of 160 ranked nations in the world. They are almost the peak of totalitarianism and authoritarianism throughout the world.
