The fall of TOR in the VENEZUELAN REGIME. / A country in censorship.

THE FALL OF TOR IN THE VENEZUELAN REGIME.
Another step to the total censorship of the country?
Another step to the total censorship of the country?
However, as far as we are concerned, it's about the Tor browser, which has been blocked under a "sophisticated" system executed by CANTV, the main Internet distribution company in Venezuela.
Tor, is the acronym of The Onion Rounter,
Tor, is the acronym of The Onion Rounter,
It is a software to camouflage Internet connections that has been used by many Venezuelans because of the restrictions that the Maduro government has applied to online media and other websites.
This browser, fulfilling its anonymity, allows people from all over the world to enter the darknet or better-named, Deep Web.
It was created by Roger Dingledine, Nick Mathewson and Paul Syverson in 2003, presenting just one year back an alpha version of free software.

The objectives of this browser was to ensure that the Internet can be used in such a way that the identity of those who use it is protected, that is, that it is not possible in any way to trace the information that a user sends to reach it, even though Tor has weaknesses which sometimes makes him vulnerable to tracking by his users.
As announced by NASA in 2013, who supposedly had managed to "invade" Tor and thus discover the identities of users seeking anonymity.
— In the last months of the year 2018, the statistics reflect the frequent use of the Venezuelan community in Tor. The method that had been used by the Venezuelan government, to stop frequent use of free software, according to initial analyzes, is sophisticated.VE sin Filtro he explains that he does not manage to annul the direct access to the pages, but rather to the "bridges" or accesses that are useful to skip these blocks.
Consequently, no way to avoid this measure has been achieved, for the time being.

With these conditions, the aforementioned software of anonymity was essential for activists, independent journalists, and other Internet characters that work in the knowledge of the events that have occurred in our country.
The Venezuelan government through the months have gradually expanded its ability to censor and monitor what is proposed as a worrying step in the path of censorship.
— The population of Venezuela has been ingenious in identifying opportunities to avoid such blockages. However, it is suspected that the government speeds internet connection speeds as another way to limit access to information. This, together with the instability of Venezuela's Internet infrastructure, which also causes significant interruptions in connectivity, hinders the effective use of online tools such as VPN that require additional bandwidth.

That's really bad and probably it's hard to compare, but Germany goes in a similiar direction, although it's more a more harmless light-version from this what's going on in Venezuela.
In the western world we get a dictatorship of Political Correctness, which comes more day by day, so when your opinion is another one as this what politics and medias say, you will be a victim of censorship and they say "any other opinion is hate speech", before some people get problems with the law.
I'm not sure what's the reason for this, but the recession of freedom is to expand worldwide, even in western countries which are privileged heretofore (this condition will not to persist for a long time).
I love that I know the situation of the country in other languages
