When The Police Refuse To Police Themselves, You LIve In A Banana Republic Equivalent
This story about the nurse being attacked for standing up for somebody else's individual rights makes her a hero of the first degree. The cop and his other cop buddies even more, are zeroes. This nurse is truly a hero to me, and should be commended as such.
Why did not one of the other cops step in to stop this out of control power freak? If cops want respect, this is what has to happen in a free society, where the cops are held to a higher standard and not a place of destination for maniacs in need of an outlet.
He is so concerned about the blood levels of the passed out patient, but we as a society should be more concerned about the steroid blood levels of this angry beyond reason cop. I think all cops should be tested for steroids which can make people lose personal control and become abnormally angry. A cop on steroids is just as big a danger to the public as a drunk driver and a police force that does not police itself, is just a group of thugs with power the public has to worry about.
