I've given this some thought, too. Ultimately its strange that the guys who run the printing press even need us to pay taxes.
You could argue that using money they issue is immoral in itself, even if you give none of it to them; you're giving their paper value by accepting it for goods and services.
That's part of the reason crypto appeals to me at such a basic level. It's so honest and pure.
Its hilarious when they try to impugn crypto by claiming people use it to buy drugs and prostitutes as if voluntary transactions are in the same league as drone bombing weddings and funerals.

Yes using dollars also pays for crimes. It is the amount of inflation while you hold the money. If you only hold dollars for few seconds it is almost okay.

I always keep about one month in expenses in dollars. Going lower is not really practical yet. Most of my capital is either in crypto or physical objects.
