My Journey To Texas Freedom Grounds

in #freedom8 years ago

About a year ago, I was so frustrated with the way I was living and I felt my life was being threatened.

I was frustrated because I was working a job I did not like, I was living paycheck to paycheck, living under an incredible amount of oppression, and I was fighting everyday for the cause of more freedom but not gaining any ground.

I felt threatened because of how hardcore and persistent my activism was. I was constantly in the face of tyranny and pressing every button I could to buck the system. I was walking around cop watching with a fully loaded AK-47 risking my life to expose the Gestapo police departments that we have in America. I was sticking my foot in the doors of tyrants in Austin who would mock the Constitution and heavily speaking out against the legislature of Texas mentioning the word treason against them.

I felt how powerful the machine really is face to face. I had mail filling up my mailbox from people who would look up my address and send loads of spam mail, was getting calls daily at my job from people all around trying to get me fired, had random pizza coming to my house nightly that I did not order, and had bogus claims to CPS and CPS showing up at my door with police. I had police following me home from work and when I left my house, I had so much being thrown at me I felt that I soon would be killed or setup by police to get rid of me. Dead men don't speak!

So, I realized that there was no way in hell I was going to keep up at this pace and get anything done to get more freedom in my life. I have a wife and two kids and needed to make sure I don't leave them alone. I wanted to set them up and start creating more freedom in our lives and I wanted to start doing it pronto!

Then we started thinking how we could do such a thing. I liked the idea of moving off-grid to start raising our own livestock, growing our own food, keep homeschooling, start being more independent, and creating more freedom in our life.

Next, I decided to move to the country and start doing just that: create more freedom in my life. So, we moved away from the city about two hours east of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, near Lake Tawakoni.

When I lived in Mansfield, I was living in a two bedroom apartment and paying $700 a month. When I moved out here, I got a three bedroom house on one acre and only pay about half that. Right away I expanded my living space and lowered my cost of living.

After that, I came to the conclusion that if I had more likeminded people in the same area as me, it could enhance freedom all around me by having people to share ideas with, learn from, trade/barter with, home school our kids together, and build a strong community. Ideas like this are bulletproof.

So, I created Texas Freedom Grounds. Texas Freedom Grounds is an idea. The idea is that you can live your life free and the way you want; farm, garden, be self reliant, or whatever you choose. Build a community that thrives on the free market and independence. Surround yourself with likeminded individuals and enjoy freedom in your lifetime! It is our right to do as we please with our own life and our own body as long as it does not harm someone else. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is all of humanity's right. Practicing freedom, also known as the right to self determination, comes with requirements. Mainly integrity, honesty, intestinal fortitude, and 100% responsibility for yourself and your actions 100% of the time. Realists building a community of other realists. Good people with strong principles and values that want out of the cage to whatever degree we can manage.

In only one year, we have almost 30 people of like minds in the same general area expanding freedom and more freedom lovers are on the way. We are NOT a commune of any sort. We are independent people living independent and free, just all in the same general area. Some people live down the street, others a few miles away.

Some of us have normal jobs working towards unplugging all the way, some of us have own our own business and are hiring people, others work online, and some are already 100% independent and self providing. We work together to help one another, learn from each other, and build a bond within the community that is bullet proof.

No, we are not entirely free and clear from oppression but we are doing what we can, with what we have, to create more freedom in our life.

You will not get more freedom from voting, cop watching, begging government officials, joining the military, or holding a sign. You have to create it yourself.

The idea of Texas Freedom Grounds is so powerful because there are no restrictions on what level of independence you want. Furthermore, being surrounded by likeminded people who are ready for anything and there to help, makes it that much more empowering.

The idea of Texas Freedom Grounds is ahead of the curve. People are looking to find more freedom but most are looking in all the wrong places. Soon, more and more people will realize what I did and find that the only way to get freedom now, is to create it yourself.

Words, Facebook posts, and videos can't even describe what is going on out here in the Texas Freedom Grounds area. It's something you have to see for yourself. I encourage everyone to check out what we are doing and if it's of any interest at all to you, I urge you to come visit.

Lastly, the end goal of Texas Freedom Grounds is to have no end. It's to keep expanding freedom, showing others how to empower themselves, and to be more free. There is no need to wait, as life is too short to keep making excuses as to why you are living paycheck to paycheck and stuck in the city rat race. Get out of the city because it's only going to get worse. Start living your dream and be a doer, not just a dreamer.

Sort:

Freedom is an idea that many countries have struggled with for generations. Many think they are free, but what appears to be freedom to the masses, is nothing more than "free range" to the enlightened. The masters are always there to bring you to heel. Keep doing good things in Texas...a line I like to use from time to time: "We are just good people, trying to do good things". As long as you're trying, and not just talking, I support you!!

Thanks for the love!! <3

I was just telling someone at work that I wanted to live in an area like this. A place where everyone felt the same as I did about our right to be a free and independent people. Is this place in Mansfield? Website?
