spiritually speaking.. everyone is doing right based on their perspective.

even when going against what they think is right, they are doing it because they think the must for their survival.... so again it is 'right' given their perspective.

and we all do this, all the time.

without a spiritual backbone.. it is really easy to get lost in doing things the fear-based mind comes up with.
