Do you think vaccine QR codes are necessary?
We are constantly being divided. By politics, economy, religion, ethnicity, wealth... and now health. What we don't truly understand is that the more divided a nation is, the worst for everyone except for those that own the power of the previous mentioned. We don't realize that everyone is always trying their very best to progress in life. It could be academically, professionally, or personally, but we are always learning in order to become better version of ourselves. We all dream, we all love, we all think that there is a better future if we try. What really matters at the end of the day is not really how much money you made, but how proud of your own self you are, because of the things you said you were going to achieve, and you develop the right discipline to do so, or at least, take action to get closer to it.
Living the life you want and not how others want you to live is not easy most times. But, usually, if we try to do what we love while making a living that we probably don't like, we could end up in an environment full of opportunities and not sadness. You want to start a Youtube channel? Then grab your camera and start recording. You will probably suck in your first attempts, and all of us would, because none of us born knowing and that is just OK. Failure is just a learning step, don't take it as the final result.
We are so afraid of new things that we think that those that are different from us, and that we see them as "new" tend to evoque us fear. This is not a voluntary reaction, however, we are fully responsible of how we end up treating others. That is why it is so important to logically embrace fear, and not trying to make such differences because of our skin color, our way of thinking or just of an QR code. Do you think that it is fine to oblige people to get vaccinated by just prohibiting them all types of freedoms? What kind of liberal mindset is that. I fully understand the pandemic and it's worldwide consequences; but before any virus, our freedom MUST go first. We are not a mere herd that is control by Fourth Estate. Open up to new experiences, because if you are really a liberal, you need to hear all kinds of opinions to build up your own. This doesn't mean that you don't have a defined personality, but instead, that you are strong enough to change it as many times as necessary to find your own truth, while respecting others.
I would love to hear your opinion about this matter. Just two questions for all of those that are interested:
- Should we all get vaccinated?
- Is the QR code a good measure?
