Toronto Man embarrasses his city government
Adi Astl, a retired mechanic, got fed up with his city government when they estimated $65,000 to $150,000 to add stairs at his local park. After waiting for action from the city and seeing his gardening friends fall (one even broke her wrist) Adi decided to build the stairs himself. In a few hours and $550 (0.8% of the price the government was going to spend) the stairs were built and Adi became a local hero.

Unfortunately the story doesn't end there.. Embarrassed by the ease with which Adi solved problem, the city placed yellow tape around the stairs and declared them unsafe.
I just read on facebook they tore them down. The tax payers should be absolutely outraged at this.
Definitely should be outraged!
