Really used to be a proud Canadian but becoming less a fan of the imaginary lines in the sand, all these "leaders" decide together to impose on people and enslave us, harass us, beat us down and extort civil liberties and as much money from us in a month that they can.

This is me holding the protest line at one of the biggest wastes of money and environmental messes in any area, it just happens to be in mine.
Voices of residents silenced, $300M of tax money wasted and about 200 police showed up to badger/harass/intimidate residents at a protest full of all the politicians we decided to publicly challenge as they drove by to a private party, with public money for the Durham-York Trash/Cash Burner Project as I called it and was quoted by the media, on the Clarington EFW / Incinerator project.

This has really upset some people but I do not force my opinions on others, or need to communicate every detail of my life or issues, most people do not care anyways. I invested around 10 hours or more a day on Steemit most of my first 13 mths here, trying to build community, put out content and engage people, help and donate to people, and I just do not have that time in my life right now, and that includes for replies and voting/curation.
I have done my best, sorry if you do not understand like some are clearly having a problem with. It's a blogging platform, and I will do my best at everything, and to keep blogging.

The greatest delusion of all is that people are unable to make choices and be in control of their own lives because they are too stupid and powerless, at least according to government officials.
Meanwhile these same people, who are stupid and powerless to make key decisions in their own lives, somehow are said to be able to find the wisdom to vote and elect morally and intellectually superior people (government officials) to manage their lives for them.
Governments simply means to have a monopoly of the use of force inside a fictitious geographical boundary. No matter what form it takes, they must use force to maintain order under their rules of law!
It's all hogwash if you ask me.

I have had Muricans messaging me for years, on my activism privately wanting to move here and I flatly tell them no, and some of the reasons, they are always shocked.
The fg media in bed with politics always whitewahes the truths, everything is moving to a police state, everywhere, rapidly.
They finally passed the bill allowing US Customs agents to carry firearms on our side of the border quietly the last 2 weeks.
