PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE JAILED; CAMPAIGN TEAM BAILS HIM OUT FOR HIS SAFETY

January 25, 2018

Dallas, TX- Libertarian Presidential Campaign Team Remove Candidate from Jail After Safety Concerns Arise

This past Tuesday January 16th, the first person to file a ‘A Statement of Candidacy’ with the FEC, to run for the highest office in the United States, Adam Kokesh, made his formal campaign announcement. Now nine days later, the campaign team made the executive decision to post bond and remove him from his confinement upon receiving information threatening his safety.

Earlier this week Kokesh recorded a podcast from within the walls of his imprisonment demanding Sheriff Akin to release him. Over the last few days, there have been numerous threats made via social media that have been traced to what appears to be local law enforcement and today Kokesh received a note in his cell stating, “GET OUT NOW”.

Video of the arrests can be found here:

The Open Letter to Sheriff Akin can be found here: https://steemit.com/freedom/@adamkokesh/1qu86mu8

Adam Kokesh is a former Marine, Author, Host of ADAM VS THE MAN which appeared on RT, YouTube Star, Cryptocurrency Advocate, Activist and more. He has toured the U.S. for the last three years to listen to fellow Americans about what they want from government and how it can be fixed. Along the way, Adam has endured many injustices, as a result of his activism. This is the latest of what is becoming a trend. He is being held at Wise County Jail.

When questioned about this candidacy, Kokesh explains to his quarter of a million supporters on YouTube, “America is too good for this government. There is no reason San Francisco should be delegating laws in San Antonio and visa versa. Nobody wants that. When we localize everything, everyone gets what they want.”

Adam Kokesh will be seeking the nomination for the Libertarian Party in 2020.

Glad your'e free for now. Hopefully we can shut down this inhuman leviathan!!

Glad to see you're free bother! You held off as long as you could, but in the end they got exactly what they wanted. Trust me I had the same exact thing happen to me in that same area and I am fighting this injustice myself. You have been let go. But only after you "complied" because they needed you to post bail...... Anyways brother, everything happens for a reason, Let's keep on fighting the good fight, we the people will prevail!

"Over the last few days, there have been numerous threats made via social media that have been traced to what appears to be local law enforcement"- is there anywhere we can get links to these comments made on social media?

Adam's dog was in the RV right by the door where the dog wanted to stay and sniff. I don't believe for a second that the dog "alerted" for drugs. Speeding is not cause for pulling someone out of their vehicle and bringing out the dogs in the first place. Please post all the videos so folks can see what transpired in both stops.

Good job!

I read your post yesterday about this issue, even listened to his interview from jail, I don't think it's the right treatment for him. Let's stand for humanity and freedom

Don't look back, buddy. Keep the Freedom Train moving ahead.

Resteem this important update 👌

So glad you are out! Sadly our officers who are here to serve and protect are more dangerous to us than anyone else. Be safe and keep us updated.

well it's about time. Staying in jail when you could bail yourself out is a protest that only hurts yourself. Has the Sheriff replied to his letter yet?
