doing my <h1>Hello World</h1> page again
<h1>Hello World</h1>
Its been ages that I havent coded a program. Ive tried creating a "Hello World" page using notepad, and guess what, I cant remember the syntax. Its sad to say I cant do it without any guide.
Reading the post of @raikuhen, it made me ask myself "why did I stop programming?" and others are eager to learn learning from the basics and me, I just need a refresher.
Thinking about my college days, Ive been through a rough road, I was the only student in our school, who reached the fifth year without having my own computer.
Thats right, a programmer without a computer. Its feels like your'e a carpenter but you dont have any hammer.
But luckily I learned Turbo, C, C++ VB6, HTML, PHP+MySQL, the basics of Python, and even integrating it with a hardware using Parallel printer ports.
Drafted a simple social network site, created an inventory system which I donated to our school.
and now, I cant do even basic HTML.
Learning to code without own computer is very hard.
I can only program when im in school, or if someone pays me to code a project using their computer, and during exams, I literally wrote a program in a piece of paper, good thing my imagination that time was very sharp running my debugging just looking at my codes.
thinking about those struggles, I felt bad forgetting all about it.
It made me think, Even though I dont use programming everyday and not even related to my job , I shouldnt forget the stuff that were im good at, maybe it will come in handy again in the future.
so here I am.
Im doing my refresher at Freecodecamp.org
wish me luck :D
