Ummm... Where was I? Sorry for that interruption. Oh yes, that's right... let's use the book, 'Hierarchy of Your Old High School,' A four to five-tier system by blah blah blah... I mean does it really fuckin' matter who it's by? It's by me now! So suck it! Any way to help explain this system further lets consult my superego...

You've got one too, but anyway... tier one: The LA Crem de' la crem... cream of the crop or what's referred to today as the 'bestie.' That's one great friend, the best friend. Or for some of you more popular girls and boys... Your Besties... I don't know if I just said beast-ie or best-ee but you know the ones I'm talking about... The friends that don't need to ring the bell, they just knock and walk right in and start squawking...

Or maybe its the one that's rummaging through your fridge right now. You know the friend... The one that calls your parents Mom and Dad. Yes, Those ones. Your select group of one, two, three, four or five humans, who somehow stumbled... no fell, into your life causing them to be propelled to become the most fortunate... or most unfortunate soul to be deemed worthy of being put up on that pedal stool and branded as 'Best Friend!' Who of course... you confide... well... Everything too! Why do we call them 'best' anyway??? Oh, Nevermind...

Ok, Are they really are best friends????????? BRAIN STOP!!! Don't go down I don't give a shit road... So, OK, now you understand who the highest tier friends are. AKA, The Best Friend. I can hear cheers and applause throughout your head, a standing ovation maybe, wrell deserved? Then again your best friends... Right? Do I hear trumpets!?!?! Best friends gotta love um!!! So now After your best friend or friends, you've got your regular friends. Which for lack of better words I'll just refer to as "friends", ok???

Good. Your friends; ahhh... This is, by far the largest category in this analogy. Around a regular friend, you'll be wearing your mask.... Do you know how you've got those 'best' friends??? The ones we... the ones we just fucken' talked about? The ones that you keep no secrets from??? Well, these friends aren't them! Nope, these are the people who know a little more about you than your name. They might know where you live... where you work... Some of these people will try to climb the ladder to be the bestie.

They might know what subjects your good at. They know your friends of friends or maybe even what you like to eat for lunch; but they most likely won't know grandma, grandpa or antie, and we'll just leave creepy old uncle out of the story for now. Was that a dream or did he really, oh n-n-nevermind *shivers. Back on track... Which brings us to the family tier. Sorry, don't get mad at me. It's your family, you can't choose um... And yes, just think they are stuck with your ass too! Family is a special tier where you've once worn no mask in front of, probably ran naked around them but now you probably wear many masks in their presence.

Family... AHHH... Love them or Hate them, your stuck with them! Some have the perfect Brady bunch family, most of us have the behind the scenes life of the Bradys! One's perfect and the other one is a perfectly imperfect mess. The perfect family is only perfect because on camera because they always wear their masks! That's why I'm so perfect! Oh crap, I've just dated myself again... If my family only knew the secrete behind my mask... the dirt i'm hiding... my dirty lil' secrets. They'd disown me! YA, THAT'S RIGHT! I said they'd Dis-own-me! Out with the bathwater. No, questions asked.

So as I try to pull at my mask to reveal my truth to you... I stop, no, wait... I can't, not yet. I don't want you to run away. You need to know me first. I mean really truly know me first. I'll tell you but just not yet. Well, I am sorry to disappoint you doll, but you'll need to wait for me to at least get through this hierarchy thing first... It would have been so much easier just to tell you outright, instead of going off on this tangent but since I've come this far, I needed to make sure we are all on the same page. Understand? OK, good. Oh, crap another interruption...
