Le seul intérêt pour la France de posséder l'île de Clipperton est la zone économique maritime de 200 milles nautiques autour de l’île. Cependant, sans vérification, cela ne vaut pas grand chose.
It's interesting because of the fresh water and it's location but not interesting enough if no one feels the need to visit in over 2 years, stranding that colony. The 'forest' is a clump no larger than a Saharan desert oasis. I was shocked to find how many people have argued over that near-barren island. Or did I miss something in the articles?
