Who's ready for the Fortnite World Cup?

Epic Games recently announced the finals for the Fortnite World Cup, set to take place in Flushing, NY, at the end of the month. It's part of a weekend long Fortnite extravaganza, starting on Friday, July 26th, and culminating with a solos battle royale on Sunday, July 28th.

All of the competitors had to earn their way into the tournament, simply by playing online. There are a number of pros in the lineup, including:

• Tfue
• C9 Snow.
• Liquid Riversan
• FaZe Funk
• CLG psalm

What's really interesting is the sheer breadth of entrants. There's a lot of people in this lineup who aren't paired with any major team or eSports organization. That's pretty legit, you know? Even better? The purse for this event is pretty insane. Epic Games is giving the winner of the Solo and the Duos tournament $3 Million for winning it all. And even the person who comes in dead last is going home with at least $50,000. Nice little piece of pocket change, you know?
