the lords prayer tells the story all, whatever maybe the cause of the problem you have with your partner, sit and have a round table discussion on the issue, and let each of you be aware of your mistake. instead of prolonging matter, let the issue be resolved on the table. while prolonging matter it brings about enemity between friends. that why the lords prayer iron it out that forgive those who trespass against us, so that our sin can also be forgiven too.
