LESSON: Meta Trading / Learning
When learning a new skill we should be to aiming to learn it as fast as we possibly can so that we can start using whatever that skill is and put it into practice.

Yes; time and experience are crucial factors that cannot be replaced, and something others will often have more of, but we do not have to have the mentality of it is going to take thousands of hours to learn new methods of strategies, especially when learning from people who have already done what we want to do and are teaching us and we don't have to make the same mistakes.

When we have a direct route and step- by-step short cut with an exact path laid out of where to go, we go the most direct and short way possible. We learn smart - fast and efficient.

That is as I am about to go into more detail is what Meta-learning and Fast-Learning are all about.

What is Meta Trading?
So what exactly is ‘Meta Learning’? In the 4 Hour Chef Tim Ferriss explains Meta learning as;

QUOTE: “Meta is where you’ll mimic the world’s fastest learners.”

In 1979 Donald B. Maudsley explained Meta learning as:

QUOTE: "The process by which learners become aware of and increasingly in control of habits of perception, inquiry, learning, and growth that they have internalized"

The way I've come to learn Meta Learning or as I often call it “FAST LEARNING” is;

Meta learning is taking conscious control over your learning and active steps over each part of it so that you are not only getting the BEST learning experience, you can start to cut the time down to A LOT less than it would normally take to learn the task you are trying to achieve.

The old course had great information in a large altogether format. It was hard to digest, hard to remember, hard to come back to in spots if you were struggling with and hard to search for bits and pieces you may have forgotten.

You were not tested or stretched to make sure you were actually up to the level required.

This has changed and it makes an enormous difference to you. Now, not only do you have the best information, you get it in a format that you can get super fast and retain quickly and then come back to, or search the exact spots you need to rehash on.
