Game 1: Wolves 0 - 2 Liverpool

Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the table to 4 points in what turned out to be a routine win for the reds. Many anticipated a tough night for Liverpool with Wolves having taken points off title rivals Man City earlier in the season.

However, a first half strike from Mohamed Salah following good work by Fabinho and Virgil Van Dijk's first Premier League goal since joining almost a year ago ensured a comfortable win for Liverpool.

Wolves had a brief spell of pressure to finish the first half and though they tried to play positive football, they were simply outclassed by a Liverpool side in a rich vein of form and confidence.
