Madrid Told Pjanic Nearly Rp 1 T, Juventus Refuse
Real Madrid reportedly made an offer to Juventus to bring Miralem Pjanic. Los Blancos submitted nearly one trillion, but were rejected.
As quoted by the US, the news was revealed by Tuttosport daily. An offer of 60 million euros or Rp. 997 billion, nearly one trillion, was rejected by the Bianconeri.
Pjanic was even called to extend his contract in Turin. In fact, his current contract will still bind him as a Juventus player until 2021.
Pjanic reportedly became the target of Madrid after Mateo Kovacic was loaned to Chelsea. In addition to Pjanic, Madrid also claimed to target Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain.
In addition to Madrid, Barcelona reportedly also targeted Pjanic. But the Blaugrana finally retreated after the Bianconeri asked for 80 million euros or Rp 1.3 trillion.
Since Juventus arrived from AS Roma in 2016, Pjanic has become a midfield pillar. The Bosnia and Herzegovina player is also good at executing free kicks, which this season is likely to be taken by Cristiano Ronaldo.
