Massimiliano Allegri became the Serie A best manager for the forth time, beating Lippi, Conte and Capello
Massimiliano Allegri was selected the Serie A Manager of the Year for the fourth time in his remarkable coaching career. Juventus mastermind easily surpassed the nominees such as Maurizio Sarri and Simone Inzaghi and set an absolute record. No other manager of Italian top-tier club ever achieved as many awards as Allegri did, who rose above such legends as Marcello Lippi, Fabio Capello and Antonio Conte who’ve been awarded as manager of the year for 3 times each.
Juventus' reign at the top of Serie A continues for the seventh consecutive season and near the mid-season break seems obvious that the Nerazzurri are dead serious to secure another league title in May. So there’s a real chance for Allegri to reach new striking heights quite soon.
- Allegri won Manager of the Month award three times with Juve and once with Cagliari
