Crystal Palace officially announced the signing of Max Meyer, who recently arrived at Selhurst Park from Schalke on free to became club’s top earner with £170,000-a-week salary. But for some not very obvious reasons, Eagles failed to introduce their new star in proper manner as they were unable to distinguish one German player from another. Indeed, in attempt to brief the fans about new arrival, official Crystal Palace website posted not of Meyer but of Joshua Kimmich instead. Here’s the proof:
