Yesterday wasn't boring, it was full of surprises!

I didn't really look forward to the day yesterday, because the matches in Euro 2024 weren't that interesting. I expected Romania to be poor, and then I expected Slovakia to be poor, and then Austria.

Well, I was mostly wrong about all three. The only exception is that France managed to beat Austria (due to an own goal), but besides that, I was completely wrong as Romania greatly surprised and won 3-0 against Ukraine, while Slovakia surprisingly won 1-0 against a Belgium that had lots of chances, but never managed to score a goal. Well, Lukaku did score twice, but they were both destroyed by VAR (correctly).

Today we have the last teams entering the tournament as Portugal plays against the Czech Republic and Georgia plays against Turkey. I guess most people believe we will end with a Turkish and a Portuguese victory today, but the Georgians will fight for their lives and Turkey is a rollercoaster, so anything can happen. Then you have the Czech Republic with some great players. I don't expect them to have much chance against Portugal, but if they get lucky like Slovakia, then our Czech friends might surprise us later today.
