Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has said that Cristiano Ronaldo will not leave the club. This also ends speculation about Ronaldo's future at Juventus.

Ronaldo's contract at Juventus remains until next year. So far, there has been no sign of a contract extension from Juventus, thus making Ronaldo widely linked with other clubs including his former club, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

The issue of Ronaldo's return to Real Madrid and Manchester United was rolling. There are even rumors that Ronaldo has the potential to be recruited by PSG to pair up with Lionel Messi.

But Ronaldo will not leave Juventus until his contract runs out at the end of August 2022.

Asked about his plans with Ronaldo, after the 36-year-old missed the friendly against the Juventus Under-23 squad in midweek, Allegri told reporters: "Ronaldo didn't play on Thursday because we had just finished a heavy training workload and I gave him half day off."

"Ronaldo is an added bonus for us, because he is a guarantee for our team to score a lot of goals. Obviously, we have to work as a team to bring out the best from individuals," continued the Italian coach who was quoted by Reuters on Saturday.

"He always trains well, I only read gossip (of his future) in the newspapers. He never told us he wanted to leave."

"Ronaldo told me that he would stay at Juventus."

Ronaldo looks set to remain part of Allegri's plans for the 2021/22 season, ahead of Sunday's Serie A opener against Udinese, days after Juventus successfully signed Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo.
