Alexis Sanchez was the architect of Palace´s defeat last time these teams met. The Chilean was left out of Arsenal´s squad at Bournemouth last weekend, and even if he still is an Arsenal player, there is no guarantee he will feature. Arsene Wenger said he will start, but there is speculated abouat an ”injury”. Alexis will leave this January, that is for sure.
Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal could make their return this weekend.
Mesut Özil and Maitland Niles is a big maybe to this match.
Palace are plagued by an injury crisis with Townsend, Schlupp, Sakho, J.Ward, Dann, Wickham and Puncheon all likely to miss the match.

Arsenal is desperate to turn things around after win just once in their last seven matches (in all competitions). With only 14 points from their last 10 matches, Arsenal Wenger have been struggling with his side.
Roy Hodgson is enjoying his start at Palace, with Palace climbing to 12th in the table. ”we are looking to survive. We will never weaver from that”, Hodgson said before this match.
