Hey football fanatics, thank you for tuning in once more.

Dani alves.jpgToday, Giuseppe Marotta, FC Juventus' executive director, confirmed the exit of the Brazilian international right back Dani Alves.

"Dani Alves has realised that he wants to try a different experience, we will consensually rescind the contract and we wish him all the best" - Giuseppe Marotta (source: Calciomercato.com)

Where to next?
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have kept their eyes on the talented right back for some time now. Since Pablo Zabaleta's departure to West Ham, Manchester City has been in the transfer market looking for a right back that could adequately fill the position Zabaleta has left open.

Why Alves?
Given the history between Pep and Alves, I'm positive about Pep wanting Alves as his next signing. We need to keep in mind that FC Barcelona's golden years were marked by the efficiency of Dani Alves as a right back. In fact, he was an automatic starter in the famous "sextuple" Barcelona squad. Pep was the manager of that successful team, known as the "Pep Team", and he repeatedly addressed Dani Alves as being a key player in his squad.

Dani Alves' playing style would fit perfectly in the Man City squad. His speed, dribbling, crossing, and ball control is exactly what Pep's Manchester City is missing. And after completing a successful season with Juventus, Dani Alves is now considered to be in the top 3 Best Right Backs in the World.

Being a free agent, it is only a matter of hours before this transfer is officially announced. What do you guys think? Will we see Dani Alves in England next season? Feel free to comment your thoughts below.

Dani Alves wasn't very professional in his last comments before leaving. However, he is truly a world class player. At least Juventus will get to replace him with someone younger, like De Sciglio or Darmian.

I agree, that's the problem with Dani Alves he doesn't think before he speaks. I heard he said Dybala needs to leave to fulfill his fullest potential. That must have angered Juve fans

Yeah, exactly that sentence. It's not false, because Juventus has no competitors in Italy and a more competitive (at this moment in time) league like the Premier League would benefit him, but it's not diplomatic at all.
