Real Madrid defeat Paris Saint-Germain in first leg of Champions League round of 16

Real Madrid faced Paris Saint-Germain for the first leg match of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 at the Santiago Bernabeu. This was an exciting match that many people had been waiting for months to watch. It was PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot who scored the first goal of the match after a brilliant backheel from Neymar at the 33rd minute of the match. Real Madrid got a penalty just before the end of the first half when Toni Kroos was brought down in the box and it was Cristiano Ronaldo who scored the penalty to equalize the scoreline. Ronaldo then scored again at the 83rd minute after a good ball from Asensio. Just a few moments later in the 86th minute, following another great ball from Marco Asensio saw Marcelo put the ball at the back of the net. The match ended with Real Madrid scoring 3 goals and PSG only scoring once. Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to host Real Madrid at the Parc des Princes next month for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.
