It is interesting to see the reactions of Nigerians to the Super Eagles victory over Iceland today. At first I was not excited about watching the match, but after the first goal I was forced to watch the rest of the match . With Iceland conceding 2 goals and loosing a penalty, most Nigerian football lovers were ecstatic.

To my amazement, the largest telecommunications network in Nigeria known as MTN gave all its subscribers 1 minute free calls! Not just that, Nigerians known for their hilarious comments and memes has been creating several memes including one where popular striker Lionel Messi is seen wearing the Nigerian jersey and cheering on the Super Eagles.
