FIFA Football World Cup - PART 2
Moving on to the second version of the FIFA Football World cup, which occurs every 4 years. Now, we move to the 1934 World Cup which was hosted in Italy between 27 May and 10 June 1934.
4 teams were able to reach the semi-finals; Italy, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Germany.
2 teams qualified to the finals; Italy and Czechoslovakia.
The host Italy was able to win their first world cup 2-1 after extra time, with a goal from their forward Angelo Schiavio.
With five goals, Oldřich Nejedlý was the top scorer in the tournament; followed by Edmund Conan and Angelo Schiavio with four goals.
