Dollah was suspended for 18 months, fined RM30,000

KUALA LUMPUR: The Pahang operator's volume, Dollah Salleh, criticized the quality of the court when it was suspended for 18 months and fined RM30,000 by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).

The sentence came into effect yesterday, after being decided by the FAM Disciplinary Committee through a meeting yesterday.

The decision was announced through a media statement on the official site of the parent body, briefly.

FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman, Datuk Baljit Singh Sidhu, said Dollah was found to have violated Article 61 of the FAM Disciplinary read with Article 88 FAM Statutes.

He said Dollah's action made a statement in the media room on the issue involving FAM without the authority of the parent body, can directly negatively affect FAM's reputation and reputation.

Former national squad operator was punished for criticizing FAM affairs affairs involving the Malaysian League (Liga M) court after Pahang's match with FELDA United on July 1.

Pahang lost 1-2 to FELDA United in the match.

"The Committee decided to adopt Article 35 of the FAM Disciplinary Code where the defendant was subject to suspension of the first nine months (from 21 July 2017 to 20 April 2018) while the second remaining balance (21 April 2018 to 20 January 2019) was postponed.

"It is subject to the good conduct of the defendant and if the same offense is repeated within 12 months after the first suspension, the second nine-month suspension sentence will be enforced immediately," he said in a statement today.

Baljit confirmed the sentence could be appealed.
