UEFA Nations League
What is the League of Nations?
A new selection competition, organized by UEFA, to be held every two years on the dates of the FIFA stoppages in which they previously played mostly friendly matches. The intention is that all European teams can play official games against others of similar level.
When is it played?
(Tomorrow xd)
In this edition, the group stage will be played between September and November of this year 2018 and the final four, which will determine the absolute champion, in June 2019. The idea of UEFA is to be held every two years so that there is a final four in odd years when there is no European Championship or World Cup.
How is it structured ?: competition system
The Nations League is divided into four leagues or divisions (A, B, C and D, from highest to lowest category). In turn, each of them has four groups. In leagues A and B the groups are of three selections; in league D, four; and in league C there is a group of three teams and three groups of four.
The group stage will be played in a double round for six days. In the groups of three teams, each team will rest two days.
There will be promotions and descents and an absolute champion (of the League A).
The participants in each league were determined according to the UEFA ranking of October 2017, after the qualification phase for the World Cup (but before the repechage). The groups were configured by lottery (there were seeded) in January 2018.

My opinion:
I want to highlight the descents, it has a great importance that causes the players do not relax as it descends from the "A" league down to the "B" league and your chances of winning the tournament you no longer have an option, so each team has your motivation, these matches are not important, it matters the UEFA Eurocup cup or the world cup, but unlike the friendly ones if it gives you a reward, you can give a ticket to UEFA Eurocup, start a revolution in football of selections, it's a positive change since the friendly was something that in my opinion have never made sense and finally we will see teams competing against strong teams, because watching a game between England and a lower team you will see that the attitude of the players It is not the same against a team of the same level. I hope you have understood and see you tomorrow
BYE FRIENDS!!!
great. an event nobody was needing.
Why? do you prefer the friendlys matches?
It s just one more try from Uefa to generate more money. That s why I will not watch a single game.
