The Build Up to El Clasico
It is no more news that Real Madrid face Barcelona in the first leg of their Laliga fixture on the 23rd of December, 2017 13:00.
The build up from both teams is pretty much interesting, and either party wants the win for a wonderful christmas
In Lionel Messi's word he said "It would be important to win for what it means, it's always a special game, Real Madrid, at their stadium... winning is an important advantage. There would still be a lot of league games left, but it would be nice to be able to end the year with a victory and spend a happy Christmas."
However Iniesta took time to warn teammate that defeating Madrid at home isnt even enough assurance that they are winning the title, however he admitted that victory would be a "huge step" forward for Barcelona.
Madrid's Toni Kroos also gave his view on El Clasico claiming, winning the Club World Cup will give them much more motivation to do well this Saturday.
