Premier League score predictions for the 6 games tonight 21/01/2020

Its Midweek football here in the UK and i want to have a little go at predicting the scores but also explaining why so lets jump in.

Aston villa vs Watford... Watford to win 2-1
despite Watfords very poor start for the last month they have been picking up points and playing good football and Aston villa are not performing well.

Watford have won the past three Premier League meetings, scoring three goals in each of those fixtures against Aston villa.

Watford are unbeaten in six league matches, winning four and drawing two.

so my prediction again is 2-1 to Watford.

AFC Bournemouth vs Brighton and hove albion... Bournemouth to win 3-1

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is under a lot of pressure due to the poor run of games in recent weeks however Brighton are not firing on all cylinders and struggle to kill off games.

Bournemouth are unbeaten in the past five home league meetings against Brighton winning four of them.

Bournemouth have lost 10 of their past 12 league games.

however despite this stat I believe they will play better than Brighton and score a few.

therefor i predict 3-1

Crystal palace vs Southhamption... Palace to win 2-0

Crystal palace have been playing great football and have been winning a lot of games this season however Southampton are not.

They are unbeaten in their past four home league fixtures against Southhampton.

Wilfred Zaha is a top quality player.

therefor i predict 2-0 to Crystal palace.

Everton vs Newcastle united... Everton to win 3-1

Everton appointed new manager Ancelotti a few weeks ago and now Everton are starting to find their rythem whereas Newcastle struggle to keep on winning runs.

Carlo Ancelotti has won 33 of his 40 Premier League home matches as a manager most matches managing other clubs.

therefor i predict 3-1 Everton win.

Sheffield united vs Manchester city 4-1 win for Manchester city

despite Sheffield uniteds impressive season and winning against the top teams of the league Manchester city will be looking for a win following a draw over the recent weekend and i feel the pressure of finishing in a UCl spot will give them that boost to score a few goals.

City have scored twice or more in 11 successive matches in all competitions, totalling 34 goals.

therefor i predict 4-1 win for Manchester city.

Chelsea vs Arsenal... 2-2 draw

this one was my toughest one to predict on one hand we have frank Lampard and a young youth side capable of opening up big teams despite dropping points to teams below them and we have Arsenal who are not playing great but are adapting under new manager Arteta.

Chelsea have won six of the past seven league meetings at Stamford Bridge, drawing the other.

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last five top-flight matches on the road, albeit four of those have ended in draws.

It will be a tight contest and i feel it will end as a 2-2 draw.

So those are my predictions for tonights games i will comment all results at full time below :)
