He adores kicks like that. The ball flies near the goal, at an appropriate speed, neither too low nor too high. He sees the shot direction and can comfortably prepare. The leg muscles strain, the arms tighten over the head.
Like a tiger he jumps on the prey and locks it with gloved claws. Stands up quickly, the gaze is so concentrated as if he doesn’t hear cheering applause. A pair of light gazelle steps and goalkeeper kicks the ball off.
Dozens on the pitch and thousands in the stadium throw back their heads. The ball flies upwards, shoots through the clouds, locates an ozone hole and dips through it, dives out of the gravity field and freezes in an airless silence of cosmic order.
Two balls, the blue giant and the white dwarf, are spinning side by side. Finally, stars are really participating in football.
