Georgia QB Jake Fromm throws 80-yard touchdown to Mecole Hardman

After Alabama scored its first points of the College Football Playoff national championship game in the third quarter, Georgia answered with a touchdown drive of its own. The Bulldogs put together a four-play, 93-yard scoring drive that ended with an 80-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jake Fromm to wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

On 3rd-and-11, Fromm aired the ball out down the right sideline and found a streaking Hardman, who broke a tackle and ran the rest of the way for the touchdown. It was Hardman's second touchdown of the day, after scoring on a one-yard rushing touchdown before halftime.
