Diese süße Nachspeise gibt es auch in Bulgarien und stammt vermutlich aus dem Byzantinischen Reich. Baklava ist ein in Zuckersirup eingelegtes und mit vielen Nüssen und Pistazien gefülltes Blätterteig-Gebäck.
This sweet pastry is also served in Bulgaria and it's origin stems presumably from the Byzantine Empire. Baklava is a pastry made of layers of filo filled with lots of nuts and held together with syrup or honey.
